Sometimes it was hard to express how much you loved someone. You said the words, but you could never quite capture the depth of it. You could never quite hold someone tightly enough.
making a movie about a violent, misogynistic male doing violent, misogynistic things for two hours, and then calling it a “satire of hyper-masculinity” does not make your movie any less violent and misogynistic.
